I need to add a RB. Currently have Mendenhall, Jacobs and Forte.
The following are available: D. Brown, T. Hightower, T. Choice, F. Jones, Shonn Greene, W. McGahee, Cadillac Williams or Clinton Portis.
Who's got the most upside potential? |

I think that D. Brown is who I would go with but I'm in a keeper league. I know he's hurt and if you need immediate production this probably not the week to do it but if you can wait this kid is the man. Choice and Jones probably fall in behind Barber. Greene who I tried to pick-up last week may or may not have a role, too risky. Hightower may have a game or two left, maybe. McGahee, no. Portis might play hard thru the rest of the season but everyone else on his team has quit, including his line. Caddy is a possibility with Ward hurt or sucking and TBB with no QB, but I'm wary of one-dimensional teams especially bad ones. It is between Hightower, Brown, and Caddy. If it is for immediate production, I would go with Hightower. _________________ Am I helping you? Please look for and answer my posts. I have one this week @

pittstownkiller,
thanks. I did pick up Hightower. I'm in a league with no trades... just FA drop/add. I like D. Brown alot (really didn't think Addai would stay healthy this long) but can't get to what his injury is (shoulder?) or how long he might be down. But just saw on our FA Wire that somebody dropped Ahmad Bradshaw for J. Stewart. Like the Giants against SD wk 9, but (1) don't like to play 2 backs on same team in same week, especially with Giants secondary having been exposed last few weeks... and (2) I think Rivers may light em up early, and if so, can NY keep running???
Thanks for the post and advice. If you have any thoughts on A Bradshaw let me know. |

Quickly, I heard that Bradshaw didn't practice before last weeks game and is going to be held out of practice the rest of the year. If that is the case it makes me nervous. NYG said all week that Manningham would play, then he didn't. My guess is the news coming out of NY can't be trusted. If they say he's OK I would take it with a grain of salt and vice-versa. _________________ Am I helping you? Please look for and answer my posts. I have one this week @

Clinton Portis will give you some big games. _________________ "If I could start my life all over again, I would be a professional football player, and you damn well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler." |
